Entry 1- Reflection on previous I-search experiences April 4th:
1. What were some of the previous reasearch projects you have done?
Last year, we had to do a bug collection, and once we caught and pinned the bugs, we had to identify, and reasearch the bug.
2. Based on this project, what does research mean to you?
To me, it means to find out all you can about a topic.
3. Describe one of your reasearch sucesses or failures, and why was this experience postitive or negative?
In 5th grade, I had to research Benjamin Frankloin, and I waited untill the last minute, and I totally regreted it!

1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I think that the webbin process helped me choose a topic because it gave me a list of topics to choose from, and that helped, because I could really eliminate some of the topics i didn't want.

1. Topic: Wether or not Shakespeare wrote the plays that he is credited for writing.
2. Why you chose it: I am very interested in Shakespeare, and I think it would be a topic I could really learn from.
3. What you already know about your topic: There is contraversy weather or not if William Shakespeare really wrote the plays that he is credited for writing. Entry 4 -Pre-Notetaking Activity - April 9:

How does sexism affect todays society? (fat)
Are some stereotypes made to keep status in our society?

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
The pre-notetaking sheet helped by giving me more options to look at, and to help keep me focused on the task.

I have learned it is not always easy to find good research on a topic.

I have found it hard to get information on my topic.

I will stay focused, and positive, and I will keep on looking!

I will ask Mrs. Goodwyne if she has any information on the matter, because she took a course on sexism stereotypes in college.

I have learned that not all people believe sexism stereotypes are bad, and that they actually keep order in our society.

None today, but Mrs. Goodwyne has said that she will sift through her papers for me.

I have learned alot about my subject, and that sexism is not a thing of the past, and it is very much alive in todays society.
